Acceptable use
Acceptable use policy
No spam, phishing, malware, or infrastructure abuse — and you must also follow Resend’s rules.
Draft for beta — subject to owner legal review before production finalization.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use policy applies to everyone using Rmail. It sits alongside Resend's own policies — you must satisfy both.
Prohibited activity
You may not use the service to:
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or deceptive messages
- Harass, threaten, or abuse people
- Distribute illegal content or facilitate fraud
- Probe, overload, or disrupt our systems, webhooks, or infrastructure
- Attempt to access another organization's mail or credentials
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, security controls, or paid plan limits (including creating extra organizations only to farm complimentary storage)
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected abuse, remove content, suspend domains or accounts, and cooperate with providers or authorities when required. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent termination.
If organizations exist only to farm complimentary or unpaid storage, we may revoke access or refuse new signups from that pattern.
